H.P. Lovecraft The Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath (1926-1927) Originally published posthumously 1943. One of Lovecraft's beautiful fantastic-grotesque tales that draws inspiration from Dunsany. This features Randolph Carter, who also appears in these tales: The Statement of Randalph Carter, Charles Dexter Ward, Through the Gates of the Silver Key, The Silver Key, The Unnamable (probably). For more Lovecraft-fantasy see also The Cats of Ulthar, and for a connection between the subjectively real world and the Dream Lands, see Pickman's Model. DJ Vollkasko, 2005
